Renovation Public Meeting

Come for a sneak peak at the final design plans for the new exhibits, visitor amenities and public spaces at our next public meeting!  The National Civil Rights Museum is about to undergo its first major renovation of the Lorraine Motel building. Construction is scheduled for November 2012. The Legacy Building, which encompasses the old boarding house across the street, will remain open for tours during renovation.  The $27 million project will update and enhance all exhibits within the historic Lorraine Motel building only.
