I think this website is very inspiring indeed. As a young girl in my youth i find that i've always wanted to visit a CivilRights museum but unfortunately i haven't been able to. However this site has futherd my wish to wan't visit and i will. I can say being black i can imagine what our people back then wen't through, but the truth is i can'y. I do witness racism today 'cause of course its still alive, but its not as bad and horrible as i could of imagined it being. I am very proud to of come from a race with such a inspiring history. :)

The National Civil Rights Museum is truly an inspiration, as I am inspired and encouraged each time I visit. Ask yourself, "Would I have been brave enough, love my fellowman enough, or love myself enough, to put myself and my beliefs on the line such as everyone involved in the civil rights movement unselfishly did for the rest of us?" Infinite thanks to all of you who sacrificed much for everyone, the world over.

I think this really is a giant step in the right direction for African Americans to regain our self awareness and selfworth. I am looking forward to bringing my children to tour the museum.

I really liked the museum and I am hoping to go back someday. Well if I could, I would probably stay there all day and just look around and think about the museum.

This is a great website. I hope to organize a youth group to come and visit the actual site this summer. I saw the museum featured on TV One several weeks ago and wanted to see for myself. Thanks for helping us to remember where we have come from and where we are going. God Bless your endeavors.

I visited the museum a few days ago and was deeply moved! I cried while standing in the room across the street, looking at the balcony frozen in time. I will be forever grateful for Dr.King and others that gave their lives for freedom for all people. And, as a person who is white I am truly sorry for the pain that so many people of my race have caused. I hope one day all will be sorry so that forgiveness and love can replace the hate and pain. Thank you NCRM for not letting us forget.

I have visited the museum on several instances, and I have always left with the motivation to make a difference. I applaud those woh have commited the time and effort to remind us not to forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice of benevolence.

I've visited the museum on 2 or 3 occasions & I've always enjoyed each visit more than the previous one. The museum depicts an adequate account of the struggles encountered by African Americans during this time. It is a true reflection of our history. Thanks to everyone who took part in establishing this phenomena.
