Remembering the Memphis Sit-Ins
Unsung civil rights heroes from the March 1960 Sit-In Movement will come together to share stories of their involvement in non-violent protest against racial segregation in Memphis. The open forum discussion will shed light on the racial conflicts, political challenges and personal sacrifices in the black and white community during that time.
RSVP at kduke@civilrightsmuseum.org or 901-521-9699 x289.
